Terms & Conditions

The terms governing your use of Nurture

Effective date: 27 May 2026

1. Definitions

Account — the credentials created on signup (mobile number, 4-digit PIN, role). Parent — an Account holder who creates a Family and is the billable contract party. Nanny — a household employee or caregiver linked to a Family via the parent's invite code. Driver — a family driver linked to a Family with restricted access. Family — a group made up of one Parent and any number of linked Nannies and Drivers. Content — any text, photo, video, voice note, shopping item, schedule entry, training enrolment or other data submitted to the Service.

2. Eligibility

To create an Account you must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the UAE, and a resident of the UAE or a country in which the Service is available. The Service is intended for adults managing the care of a minor; it is not directed at children.

3. Account & security

You are responsible for safeguarding your 4-digit PIN and for any activity under your Account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised use. Parents are responsible for sharing their family invite code only with trusted household staff. Each Nanny and Driver who joins a Family can view data under role-based access rules.

4. Subscription & billing

Core features are provided on a free plan. Premium features may be offered under a paid subscription as published in the Service from time to time. Parent-billed only — only the Parent Account holder is charged; Nannies and Drivers are never billed. Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. Cancellation — you may cancel anytime from account settings or via the platform you subscribed through (Apple App Store or Google Play). Refunds — except where required by UAE consumer-protection law or app-store rules, fees are non-refundable. Prices include applicable UAE VAT unless stated otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law; harass, abuse or discriminate against any user or household worker; upload illegal, explicit, hateful content or content depicting a child unsafely; reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems; use automated means outside our documentation; or send unsolicited commercial messages.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all Content you submit. By submitting Content you grant Nurture a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, transcribe and translate that Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for your Content and must have all rights necessary to submit it, including consent of anyone depicted (e.g. parental consent for a child's photos or videos).

7. Role-based access

The Service applies role-based access by design. Drivers cannot view care logs, daily summaries or child profiles; nannies cannot view private parent-driver messages. You acknowledge you have read the Privacy Policy and understand how data is shared within a Family.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Cloudinary (photo/video storage), OpenAI Whisper (voice-note transcription), Resend (transactional email) and others described in the Privacy Policy. Use of those providers is subject to their terms; we are not responsible for outages or errors they cause.

9. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Service (app, brand, logos, designs, copy and source code, excluding your Content) belong to Nurture or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

10. AI features & disclaimers

The Service includes AI-generated features such as voice-note transcription, one-tap translation and age-based activity suggestions. These may produce inaccurate output and are provided for convenience only. The Service does not provide medical, legal or professional advice; childcare guidance, milestones, activity ideas and Academy content are educational only and not a substitute for a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact UAE emergency services (999 / 998).

11. Suspension & termination

You may delete your Account anytime from the Profile screen. On deletion of a Parent account, all related Family data is erased and any linked Nanny or Driver accounts are detached. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision is no longer commercially reasonable.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted operation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Nurture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) AED 500 or (b) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nurture from any third-party claim arising out of your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the UAE and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai, UAE have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save where applicable UAE consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
